Unlike other "pasta cookers" originally designed as fryers, Desco pasta cookers have been engineered specifically for cooking pasta, in salt water, in the most efficient way possible.

The Desco CPG-1/45 Plus Single Tank Pasta Cooker is a single tank, double burner, gas pasta cooker. High efficiency dual burners allow fast recovery when cooking semi-frozen or frozen products. This model features a single 12 gallon tank with water fill, drains control, and heat control. A one piece stamped (not welded) stainless steel tank is highly resistant to the corrosive effects of salted water. A drain located at the front of the tank helps remove starch automatically.

In addition to cooking pasta, this model can also cook rice, vegetables, potatoes, meats, and seafood.
