The Vulcan MSA48-30 commercial griddle is safe to operate with millivolt pilot safety valves that shut off the unit if a pilot extinguishes-this prevents overheating and protects the heating elements from damage. To capture food particles, this unit has a front-mounted grease trough that holds 6 quarts. It has a 4-inch backsplash with tapered side splashes that contain messes to keep the wall free of splatter.
