For versatile cooking methods, the Vulcan VBI2 V Series deck broiler has two broiler levels. The top deck is heated by three cast iron burners with ceramic tile radiants; the infrared deck below is equipped with four ceramic tile-faced burners. Each cooking grid has a cold-rolled steel construction to impart grill marks on steak, chicken, and vegetables, measuring 251⁄2 inches wide by 241⁄2 inches deep for ample room to cook multiple foods at a time. By including two infinite heat controls per deck, the grids' temperatures are easy to adjust.
The Vulcan VBI2 double-deck broiler's grids have a spring-balanced mechanism that enables a five-position grip and can be raised or lowered, depending on desired heat contact. Its inner and outer walls are insulated to keep heat contained, reducing heat loss for back-to-back use. This 36-inch-wide by 37.5-inch-deep by 74-inch-high unit is constructed of durable stainless steel to endure common wear from regular use and is supported on 5-inch casters, so it can be moved to clean the space beneath it.
